Linking Honda remote transmitter to a car

1) Sit in the driver seat and close all doors
2) Turn ignition key to ON, press the LOCK button on working remote, turn ignition key to OFF
3) Turn ignition key to ON, press the LOCK button on working remote, turn ignition key to OFF
4) Turn ignition key to ON, press the LOCK button on working remote, leave ignition ON
5) You should hear the door locks operate, the car has now entered programming mode
6) Press the LOCK button on each remote (including original) you want linked to the car (door lock should operate)
7) Turn ignition key to OFF and remove key
8) Test that all keys lock/unlock the door and pop the boot

Note: This programs the central locking function only. The security transponder to unlock the immobiliser is a separate chip.

If the central locking no longer functions, first try replacing the battery CR1616 first. Still not working then buy either a cheap key or new transmitter and install the transmitter in your existing key and program as per above.
