ok guys ive used the search button and didnt come up with anything or the searches i was doing was pretty shit. bottom line is where can i buy drifteks in Sydney NSW at a good price with or without tyres doesnt really phase me! ive googled it and everything and still cant find anything on where i can actually purchase it.. trying to save couple bux from shipping plus buying them from the supplier hopefully also enables me to trial fit them before i purchase seeing which width and offset id like! please keep thread clean i am a newbie!

just wondering if installing a pod filter is a bad idea for turbo diesel , just wanna get rid of the stupid looking box filter and i have heard of poeple getting a slight increase in power and fuel economy .

anyone thats done it ur input would be great .

also i have read that the old pajero's have problems with the actuators , the springs apparently loosen up and the turbo runs less boost than it should
any one have any idea what boost a 1991 2.5 td pajero should be running ?

Rear brake caliper

Just posting a question up cause im a little unsure of something when i was changing the rear brake pads on my s13 today.

Basically i followed the guide of NICO.com, but i used needle nosed pliers first up which were hopeless. I then used some multigrips which worked okay, until i accidently tore the rubber boot covering the caliper on one side. So i decided id buy the caliper tool that attaches the socket wrench. When i came back from supercheap auto i noticed a little bit of brake fluid leaking out from the rubber boot.

So i put everything back together and got my dad to start to pump the brakes to get the pressure back in, i checked the BMC and did not see the brake level drop. I checked the brakes and did not see any brake fluid dripping down. I even drop up and down my street and did not see a drop in the BMC either.

Question is how safe would it be to drive? Cause the last thing i need is for my BMC to have no brake fluid then im f*cked also the brake pedal wasnt spongy or sunk to the floor, so im hoping that a good sign....

Have had a bit of a search with no luck. I need some advice/photos on welding up s13 and s15 guards to obviously make s13.5 guards.

I've nutted it out in my head a number of times about where to cut but i remember years ago i found a photo of the guards in their bare form showing the weld lines.

Alright, i have a 4.11 ratio KAAZ 1.5way mechanical diff out of my car. it's a great diff, i wouldnt be selling it if i didnt need the $$. i drove around with it as a daily up at a ski resort where there was ice, snow and wet everywhere and didnt have any issues with it slipping or skipping around tight corners or anything, barely anything with 3 point turns either. but on the track it was beautiful, no signs of any open wheeling, extremely predictable, with great turn in.

this comes with an R32 housing, and half shafts, so ready to bolt straight in, dont have to take the centres out. however i have an R33 housing(with ABS) sitting here as well, so if any R33 buyers are interested, i can swap it into that housing instead and it will go into ur R33.

Also the gearbox may need looking at as it for some reason wont go into reverse..

Apart from that the car drives amazing and has been alot of fun while it lasted.

All orifices have been stuffed with rags.
It's a JDM import with about 60'000 k's on it, was originally an auto.

So i was with a group of mates and talking about P plates. They all told me that the vic roads is introducing new rules sometime soon, dont know when, its for the Learners who are going to become P platers.
They already put a ban on high powered vehicles, (8+, turbo,supercharge) and apparently the new law will class 6cyl as a high powered vehicle. I know that some 6s are pretty quick, take the sv6, xr6, r33, etc.
They will exclude some 4 bangers as well, the vtir prelude/integra?
So basically they will be limited to 4cyl only (red ps, green you can drive the 6) It wont apply to current P plates.

Has anyone else heard this? or have i heard a bunch of smelly shit?

Hi all selling my garrett 2860 off my RB20 to fund an engine swap

No shaft play or end float

Turbo is mint, done under 5000kms, feels really good on car and was making 215 kw for the short time it been on the car without injectors, afm or tune

Can supply oil drain pipe and feed hose, just needs water line which are easy as

Still on car now and can be heard running, Turbo will be coming off sunday if sold

Hey all,

Have to put my car up for sale as its just not viable for me to keep anymore. I have owned the car for a little over 2 years and i am the first Australian owner. I imported the car through Iron Chef in 2008, it would have to be one of my favorite cars i have owned. As far as i know it is one of a kinda in Australia given the mods and looks i have not seen or know of another like it, so this car may not suite everyone but if you want to be different and stand out from the crowd then this is the car for you.

There are a few little issues that i have just not got around to fixing but i just dont have the time or the effort anymore. Front rotors are slightly warped little vibration under heavy braking, front right coil has started to knock so it will need a rebuild (car still handles great) and i just havent gotten around to re-tinting the car.

Hey, going to be converting an S13 CA18DE Auto to a CA18DET Manual, I have a Full Donor Car also. Just wondering if i will have to swap the Left hand Side Wiring Loom? (Looking From Front of Car) Obviously i have to swap the Right Hand Side loom and ECU. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The van is in good condition apart from the small damage on the

This van also is a great towing vehicle, the engine is toquey and its geared low. The brakes are also huge and make short work of stopping a trailer along with a car on it. Far more practical than what many other use to tow, economical, super reliable and new!

Despite the above, the car has only towed 2 or 3 times in the two years I owned it, was initially used for courier work and then mostly as a daily.

Got a pair of used 235/45/17 Pirelli Dragon's if anyone wants them.

Tread is just above wear indicators so wouldnt use for street but still good enough for some laps.

Dunno what they are worth really so i'll put around $50 for the pair. If thats too rich, lowballers will be accepted if that is all i have by the weekend.

s13 CA18de missfiring weirdly!

ok hi guys i have a problem with the CA
just rndomly some night the car started misfiring badly but only for bout 5mins so i thought it mightve been some bad fuel and idnt worry bout it. then lastnight it happened again, but for bout 20 minutes and i realised its only ever started whilst ive been stopped (at trafic lights etc.) andd fixed itself wen i turned it off an on againn. then toay, it happened at traffic lights and was switching on and off (the missfiring) randomly. i hav already checked and cleaned spark plug condition, gaps and checked coils and even put a new coil in (one of em were shitty) , but nothing seems to work. just wondering if anyone can help and tell me if there are any common problems like this for the CA and how would i fix it. I'm using this as a last resort so thanks in advance and sorry for the large read ^ haha

just a quick one, work colleague is trying to sell his supra for an absolute steal of a price. too good not to let anyone here know.
he has it advertised but not on any forums which is making it hard for him and all he seems to get are dickheads contacting him.

Hey guys got a full set of Tein HE D1 spec coilovers...its in great condition with no leaks or knocks
Height, dampener and camber adjustable not sure what spring rate is but set close to standard and is very stiff

S15 pillar damage

Had a bing in the s15 and my pillar and windscreens copped the most damage just wonder if it would be repairable the roof is untouched nothin wrong with it just the pillar is bent out from the windscreens.

Would it be possible to cut the pillar out and put a cut from another one in?

hey my 1989 r31 executive i baught that im turning into a drift car has a very stiff handbrake, its really hard to pull up and down anyone thats got any ideas on why and how to fix it would be much appreciated
